I would say go Adorama Nikon F4 or F5 SLR professional level in their time but are now available for new and used homes.

F90x/F100/F4/F5 for the full automation of all at a reasonable price used in the market.

F4 matrix metering with manual focus lenses. It is the workhorse of many experts for years.

F90x was the semi-professional model between the F4 and F5, something so compact and difficult to relatively loud, but CH land quickly and cheaply used today ($ 100 or less)

F5 is large and bulky, but rich in features and built like a tank, and all Fs-digit range.

F100 is probably the second most refined and comfortable, Nikon SLR film of all time, second only to the F6.

If instead the kind of manual focus, you will find a SF, FA or FM/FM2.

The F100 is one of the best! He always said that with 4 AA batteries, has a fine display at full height and was built like a rock. In the darkness, if you took a F100 or D200 would not be able to make a difference. All controls were in place. It is smaller than F5, and is almost the same properties. They should have the opportunity to earn a decent use for hundreds of dollars per day ...

Looking for a Nikon N50 or N80. I sold my N80, but still the N50. It is had by far the best 35mm I have ever used.

You can pick them up cheap on Craigslist or eBay.
