How long do you have once diagnosed from COPD? - copd in india

The father of my friend was just diagnosed with COPD and see it as my own father, which makes it difficult. He is 45 years and refuses to stop smoking and drinking, which was afraid of him. How long does it take if you accept it? Is this a painful way for him to go? Please be honest, I want to show, and perhaps go and try to help themselves.

I have diagnosed with COPD about 7 or 8 years. He had quit two or three years before my diagnosis. I can only say that the father of your friends have quit smoking will only worsen your condition. I can honestly say that the diagnosis of COPD is not an automatic death sentence. Even if the condition is reversible .... There are many drugs on the market that slow the progression of the disease and improve the quality of life.
If they do not know what COPD is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. These are asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Not everyone has to do all three, but many. My own father was living with COPD for many years, will be 80 in August and only the nursing home has taken ill a year ago.
I recommend that your friend's father started a lung specialist and thus therapy. Furthermore, it should be a vaccine against pneumonia and the flu shot every year. We must also avoid people who are sick, as a threat to the immune system, COPD.

IHope this helps.

Chronic obstructive lung is where the lungs get exchange of C02 with limited oxygen. Length of time depends. Rates of smoking to the list of low oxygen reduced. After the very people spend COPD can say that there will be a terrible way to go, and for breath until the end. Once in the so-called final stage COPD Hospice a huge win for the relief of breathlessness is
(SOA). Supplemental oxygen is necessary at a given time. When the oxygen at the time of smoking, while O2 can make use of internal combustion engines. Furthermore, the use of O2's should not exceed 3 liters per minute can be to maintain an excess of oxygen causes the brain to think, you have plenty of O2 and stop breathing. This is because the body is used for low oxygen conditions. Hope this helps as graphic as it is.

A couple of obvious problems. Do not tell me what your overall fitness. But that's what he said he goes, he will probably not live to retirement. If you stop smoking, you start to eat healthily, exercise adequate rest, can live to a ripe old age. It depends on how he intends die.Have a bag over her face and let there.Maybe put a small hole in your pocket. That's what he wants to drown. I've been there. Nobody should die like that. Shoot Me Let Me Go get hit by a bus, but let me not die. It takes too long, and 911 is not fast enough.
Pray for him and tell him how you feel. Perhaps it is justified.
