Pokemon Gold Game for PC? - pokemon ruby download for pc laptop

I have a website that explains how to convert files so that you play Pokemon Gold on the PC. Does this also work for Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire? Since both parties have made progress on the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance SP and Nintendo DS, and gold was made for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
